 Anna Scripps Whitcomb ConservatoryLooking for a quiet spot just to sit and relax. The Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory may just be the place for you. Located on beautiful Belle Isle, The Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory is another of Detroit's "Gems". Designed by Albert Kahn and built in 1904. The conservatory was rebuilt between 1952 and 1954.The timber beams were replaced with aluminum. The conservatory was dedicated the Mrs Whitcomb.
